Key Responsibilities:

– Create and manage themes and plugins to enhance functionality.
Optimise website performance, including speed, security, and scalability.
– Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
– Collaborate with the content and design teams to implement new features and designs.
– Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs promptly.
– Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
– Manage multiple WordPress sites efficiently, ensuring their maintenance and performance.
– Develop and maintain geo-location-based content to provide localized experiences.
– Implement language translation features for multilingual support.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a WordPress Specialist or similar role.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
– Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
– Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
– Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.
– Knowledge of SEO principles and tools.
– Experience with version control systems like Git.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Strong portfolio showcasing managed WordPress sites, including examples of geo-location-based content and multilingual capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
